Through an immaculately restored stone archway, snuggled in the picturesque heritage site village of Doukades, protected by the archaeological society of Greece, lies this marvelous fully restored 18th Century cottage. It is just a few minutes drive to the sea, and within walking distance from the village tavernas and illustrious square. Hidden behind beautiful hand carved wooden doors, the cottage embraces its history with exposed beams, tall ceilings and country chic feel.

PALEOKASTRITSA
Fabulous Paleokastritsa is one of the most recognizable and striking destinations of the Ionian Islands having even been used in a scene from the James Bond movie “For Your Eyes Only”. The verdant, rocky hills that frame the beaches, with their crystal clear, amazingly blue waters, captivate the visitor. It owes its name to the neighbouring Byzantine castle of Angelokastro, located on its northern side.

Hiking enthusiasts can enjoy the route along a cobbled path through the forest, which leads to the church of Agios Symeon, at an altitude of 350 meters. From this point you can see all the coves of Paleokastritsa!
